Information:
Natural spring water or mineral water needs to have constant composition of minerals. It also needs to be taken from a place evaluated, examined with hydro geological methods approving there is no biochemical or bacterial pollution.

The label of natural water needs to inform about the mineral composition of water, needs to mention the place where the water comes from, where water is bottled, its address, the description of water, also phrase “natural spring water” or “natural mineral water” must added mentioned the trading name.

Natural mineral water must have the information about the level of mineralization. With up to 500 mg/l of minerals - it’s a mineral water with low level of mineralization. High level of mineralization is for water with minerals above 1000 mg/l. Mineral water consisting several thousands milligrams of minerals per liter are considered as curative waters and are used under medical guidance.

Natural mineral water can also be divided by ion concentration in it. The curative traits of water mostly depend on ions. Water consisting hydro carbonates decreases the acidity of gastric juice, water with chlorides stimulates the secretion of stomach and pancreas,  water with sulfates renew the functions of stomach and gallbladder, water with sodium helps to regulate the arterial blood pressure,  water with magnesia helps to deal with stress, but water with iron heals anemia.


Packaging
Still natural mineral water of Stelpe is filled in PET bottles of 0,5 liters, 1,5 liters and 5 liters. Carbonated natural mineral water of Stelpe is manufactured in PET bottles of 0,5 liters and 1,5 liters.

Characterization.
Natural water of Stelpe is considered to be alive water. Usually water in our shops is processed with the method of reflexive osmosis which makes water die. The water of Stelpe is allowed to live. Water is processed and cleaned with common mechanical filter and quartz sand. This process takes away only the not needed iron additions and aroma of sulfur but keeping the remedial amount of sulfur in it. Natural mineral water has no chemical additives harmful to health!

You need calcium!
Mineral water of Stelpe has plenty of calcium in it which is good for strong teeth, heart and tones up the circulation of blood. Calcium has the main role in blood thickening and it works as an antioxidant needed in regulation of activity of muscles and nerves and in metabolism of iron and vitamin B12. Balanced usage of calcium helps to prevent the threat of osteoporosis which especially endangers women during menopause.

You need fluoride!
With Stelpe spring water you can have an optimal daily amount of fluoride. It protects teeth since it increases the resistance against acids.

You need selenium!
The mineral water of Stelpe is a real finding with selenium – a true elixir of youth. The inhabitants of Latvia have a biochemical shortage of selenium, but selenium protects the body from free radicals, stimulates the health of heart and blood-vessel system, it helps to regenerate the muscles and normal work of heart and positively affects all human body. It is a very important antioxidant which strengthens nails, stimulates growth of hair, supplies the cells of body with all they need and at the same time protects the cells from the effect of damaging chemicals. The lack of selenium raises the risk of cancer, low immunity and permanent tiredness.

You need sulfates!
Sulfates guarantee successful metabolism. Mineral water of Stelpe is an irreplaceable help to normalize appetite preventing from gaining lost weight too soon. This water is the only one in Latvia which has an official statement of State medication agency claiming this water simulates the work of stomach, gallbladder and urethra.
